Head coach of Nigeria's U-23 team, Samson Siasia, has insisted that his team can excel at the 2016 Olympics, despite the non-availability of some invited foreign-based players.
The Dream Team VI are currently preparing for the competition in Atlanta, USA, without players like John Mikel Obi, Moses Simon, Kenneth Omeruo and Godfrey Oboabona.
However, the team's media officer, Timi Ebikagboro, says their preparations are still on track.
"We are going ahead with or without the foreign pros, no player can hold us hostage," Ebikagboro quoted Siasia as saying.
Nigeria are in Group B alongside Japan, Sweden and Colombia.
