As some of us know, MTN blocked all data access through the Blackberry services for non BlackBerry device users few days ago.
Yes, its back now. Just revive your previous settings and it would work. Incase you don't remember or you just hearing it for the first time, change your Access Point Name (APN) to blackberry.net[/b] after you have aycceafully subscrubed to a MTN blackberry plan. Leave every other settings the way they are (empty if that's how your phone shows them).
If you are not already subscribed, simply follow the instructions below.
- Recharge N500 or N1000 (Depends on your pocket)
- For N500: text BBWEEK to 21600. Wait till you receive a confirmation SMS. This plan expires in seven days and has a fair usage threshold of 1GB.
- For N1000: text BBC to 21600. Wait for confirmation SMS. This plan expires in 30days (Unless you are given a free 7-days making it 37 days) and has a fair usage threshold of 3GB
- Another way MTN enriches lives (lol).
